jump for fitness

In it’s simplest terms, fitness is composed of:

cardiorespiratory health,

muscle strength and endurance,

and flexibility.

Exercise helps us to become fit and to stay that way.

Exercise strengthens the heart so that it works more efficiently.  When the heart is fit, it can work harder for longer periods of time while using less energy.  The stronger your heart is, the less stress is put on it during every day activities.

Exercise strengthens muscles.  Fit muscles help support the skeletal system, and make us strong so we can do more for longer periods of time without tiring or hurting ourselves.

Exercise makes us limber, strong, and fit!

A fit body hurts less, lasts longer, sleeps better, burns more calories, and has a stronger immune system.
