What is a Green Smoothie?

Sometimes other things can be added such as vegetables, seeds, seasonings or Rejuvelac, but for best digestibility and to receive the most benefit from the greens, a Green Smoothie is made with fresh fruit and greens only.

It is a “whole food” smoothie because unlike juicing, the whole food is used. Juicing removes the pulp or fiber, where as whole food smoothies do not.
