Water – Keeps The Fat Away!

  • Water is a natural appetite suppressant.
  • Water helps the kidneys function properly which allows the liver to do the work of metabolizing stored body fat. This means healthier kidneys, a healthier liver, and less stored body fat….That’s a big 3 way win if ever I heard of one!!
  • Drinking enough water actually reduces fluid retention.
  • Water helps rid the body of waste products. As we loose weight this is especially important because as we eat better our body starts to clean up and clean out. Keep that waste moving out with lots of water!!
  • Water helps to maintain proper muscle tone by giving your muscles the natural ability to contract and not be dehydrated.
  • Water will help you have soft resilient skin.
  • Plenty of water keeps the bowels functioning normally.

So How Much Water Should You Drink?

The average person needs 8- 8oz. glassed per day. But this amount varies greatly depending on your weight.

Here’s a Great Tip:
A good way to figure out how much water you need each day, is to drink half your body weight in ounces of water every day. In other words, if you weigh 1oo pounds you should consume 50 ounces of water each day.


Add a pinch of baking soda and a splash of fresh lemon juice to each glass of water to help balance your Ph. I will discus this in more detail in upcoming posts.
