Eating 1-2-3: Understanding the Food You Eat (Part 2)

Conscious Eating is a 5 class series designed to unravel the mystery of healthy eating and equip you with a working knowledge of the foods you eat and the body they fuel.

Class 2 – Homework

1. Start drinking your water:

Start drinking 1/2 your body weight in ounces daily. Add to it some fresh squeezed lemon juice and/or a pinch of baking soda. Begin evaluating your sources of drinking water. Are they adequate or do you need to begin thinking about some sort of purification system? Below you will find some purification systems we like.

2. Read “The Harmful Effects of Refined Sugar and Refined Flour”. Open all three links in the article and read or view the video.

3. Visit the Institute for Responsible Technology website. Read “10 Reasons to Avoid GMOs” and click around the site to see all the information they have to offer.

4. Print this Class 2 Quiz/Review, complete it (open book) and bring it with you to class 3 for review.
