Glazed Bartlett Pears

Printable Version – Glazed Bartlett Pears

1 ripe Bartlett pear

1 teaspoon coconut oil

1 Tablespoon Grade B Maple Syrup

¼ cup raisins (optional)

Slice pears ¼ inch thick. I use a Mandoline slicer.

In a small skillet heat coconut oil. Add pears to hot oil and sauté until tender but not mushy. Turn off heat and add maple syrup and raisins. Stir together, place a lid on the pan and let sit until time to serve. This will allow the pears to steam a bit and the flavors to meld together.

This is delicious served over Frozen Fruit “Ice Cream” and/or Mini Pumpkin Cakes.
