Zucchini & Apple Bread or Crackers



4 Zucchini

4 cloves garlic (peeled)

2 apples

2 cups ground flax seed

Place zucchini, apples, and garlic in food processor and puree. Thoroughly mix in flax seed.

Spread on dehydrator trays using Teflex® sheets and dehydrate at 105°F for 18-24 hours depending on how soft or crunchy you want it to be.

After about 8 hours, when the bread is set but not hard, I use a pizza cutter to cut nice square pieces and then place them back on the dehydrator tray to finish dehydrating.


  • Cut bread size pieces and dehydrate less time for a softer bread.  Cut in smaller squares and dehydrate longer to obtain a crunchier cracker.
  • I store this bread in a cardboard gift box lined with wax paper.  This keeps it fresh while not making it too soft.
